Helg i Göteborg

Det är över två år sen, men nu har jag lyckats scrappa bilderna från när vi var till Göteborg och tittade på Bo-mässan. Givetvis blev det en tur till Liseberg också, vi bodde ju alldeles bredvid, och den positiva överraskningen Universeum.

It has been more than two years, but finally have I been able to scrap the pictures from our visit to Gothenburg and the Living Fair. Of course did we also visit Liseberg, we lived at a hotel nearby, and a positive surprise; Universeum.

Novemberljus

Texten säger:
Carina och Janne bjöd med oss på en promenad runt stan för att titta på Novemberljus-installationerna. Det var ungefär 5 km, och ca 20 olika konstverk. Vi mötte massor med folk som var ute och promenerade också. Som tur var så kom det inget regn på oss, och kvällen avslutades med middag på Kikkobar.

Carina and Janne invited us to walk with them around the city to look at the November Light. The walk was about 5 km, and there were about 20 light installations. We met many people out in the same business as we. Luckily there were no rain on us, and the evening ended with dinner at Kikkobar.

Thailand - page 21 & 22

Sala Kaew Ku utanför Nong Khai, är en stor park med enorma stenstatyer. De föreställer olika Buddhistiska och Hinduiska gudar, och är riktigt coola.

Sala Kaew Ku outside Nong Khai is a huge park with enormous stone statues. They pictures different Buddhist and Hindu gods, and are really cool.

Födelsedagskalas

Med besök från Hedkärra så åkte vi ner till Åtvidaberg för att äta lunch. Efter en trevlig måltid så gick vi en sväng med hundarna på golfbanan.

We went to Åtvidaberg with out visitors from Hedkärra to eat lunch. The meal was very nice, and we then went for a stroll with the dogs on the golf course.

Thailand - page 19 & 20

Sista dagen i norra Thailand, och utflykten gick via Udon Thani vidare till Nong Khai. På vägen dit stannade vi vid en silkesmarknad och shoppade sjalar och andra silkesvaror. Vi var också till ett tempel, med stenstatyer, men det är nästkommande sidor.

Vi åt lunch på en restaurang, där mestadels transvestiter serverade, och vi hade utsikt över Mekongfloden och Laos. Sen åkte vi tillbaks till Pang Khon för att fira kungens födelsedag med en picknick.

Last day in northern Thailand, and the day trip went via Udon Thani to Nong Khai. We stayed at a silk market on the way there and shopped shawls and other silk stuff. We also went to a temple with stone statues, but that is on the next pages.

We had lunch at a restaurant, where most of the waitors were transvestits, and we had a view over the Mekong river and Laos. After that we went back to Pang Khon to celebrate the kings birthday with a picnic.
